Personal Trainer Marketing 101 for the Internet; Google is your friend and your ticket to not only getting client referrals but getting some passive residual income on your website!

Now I am going to explain why getting a gmail account, and adsense account as well, as some of the other incredible resources Google has to offer, is an important step in your business.

A gmail account is simply a basic e-mail address with google- but it is also the key to so many of it's great free services and resources for small businesses - like us.

All you have to do is go to www.gmail.com and then sign up- it is free and very useful, as you will soon see.

The below advertisement is an example of an image Ad that I can sign up for. As you can see in the below blogs there are text advertisements everywhere on both of my blogs, so they make great Personal Trainer Marketing Portals.

Now that you have a gmail account it is your passport to creating an Adsense account. This is a great revenue generator.

But I do not even have a website yet???

Well guess what; you can create a free blogger account with adsense advertising on them- in less than 10 minutes - free.

I personally have 2 of them.

They generate a small but nice income from the traffic I linked from this page and other small sites I have created- without the need for a web master.

If you want to check out my 2 Blogger sites they are linked here below.

You can do this as well.

It is very simple, but you must take the time to do it.

When you sign us for an Adsense account remember to follow the direction for "webmasters" not publishers. The publishers section is for those individuals looking to advertise.. you are looking to create a passive income with you future website presence.

A blogger account is easy to set up, go to www.Blogger.com and just like youtube and facebook follow the directions, it really is a great Personal Trainer resource- it was for me.

Blogger and Youtube are actually owned by Google so they are both important free services you have available to you as a trainer trying to get established in the fitness industry.

They all figure into a great plan.

Once you have your Blogger Account- it becomes your temporary website for publicity and promotion and a small passive revenue.

Ideally you want a website that is more like this one- with an easy navigation for you clients- but I will show you how to get a similar website without learning any Html programing- later.

But I am going to mention how to recognized some HTML- so that you can fully use your new Personal Trainer Resources. You will only have to paste the Html code into your blogger account in order to create your first Internet publicity vehicle.

A good example of basic Html code is when you embed (add something) so you page, like a YouTube video to your blog.

Now let's practise- if you have not uploaded a video of yourself yet to YouTube - go ahead. If not, just pick a useful youtube video for your website (you can easily remove it later.)

Go to the Youtube video. There is a section to your left that says: Embed -(Under URL) Copy the "embed: code.

Now login to your blogger account- click on "New post".

There are 2 tabs- one that says "Edit HTML" and "Compose". If you want to paste you video- you must be in the HTML section.

If you wanted to write something - like an article- you would go under the compose section.

Then you simply press "Publish Post" - this is very simple.
